Sparing Partner: Wild Turkey/Father and Son, WB181217 Conclusions. Very high-quality bourbon. First of all, it stands out for its rich and smooth taste with a soft aftertaste. The aroma is also good, but in terms of richness and brightness it lags behind the taste a little. In comparison with the Sparing Partner, I generally give a slight advantage to "Turkey". I believe that the difference between them is due to the discrepancy in the methods of burning the barrels: unlike the partner, here the barrels are charred, not just burned. Rating 82
