Лёгкий сладко-фруктовый спейсайд (яблоко, апельсин, мёд, ваниль) с цветочным ароматом как сильнейшей стороной. Общий вердикт — приятно пьётся, но пусто и водянисто; опытные оценивают ровно около 77–85, менее опытные расходятся резче, вплоть до провалов.

Аромат почти все хвалят и считают лучшей частью: цветочный, сливочный, полный жёлтых и свежих фруктов — апельсин и цедра, персик, абрикос, яблоко, груша, — с мёдом, ванилью, карамелью и лёгкой пряностью дуба; при 40% спирт в носу заметен сильнее ожидаемого. Вкус разочаровывает на контрасте: тонкий, водянистый и слабый, будто разбавленный, с быстро выходящей дубовой горечью, какао и кофейной нотой от старой бочки, немного перца и сладости (мёд, карамель, спелое яблоко). Послевкусие короткое или средней длины, сухое, пряное, ничего нового не добавляет. Основная критика — простота, одномерность, нехватка тела и глубины, ощущение молодости и переразбавленности; неоднократно звучит, что 46% или 50% пошли бы напитку на пользу, а цена завышена.
Оценки опытных ревьюеров держатся плотно в диапазоне 77–85 при медиане около 80–81: они признают питкость и хороший нос, но сходятся на отсутствии сложности. Менее опытные дают более широкий разброс — от щедрых 82 до жёстких 70, 73, 75 и провальных 65, где всплывают мыльные и жжёно-хлебные тона. Общий консенсус ровный: аккуратный, простой аперитив для начинающих, крепкий «середняк» без выраженных достоинств и недостатков, чей нос заметно опережает вкус и послевкусие.

21 20 20 20 81 Nice brand nose, but a lot more oak ...
The nose is by far the best part of this whisky, the base of the taste is pleasant, but to much watered down, and therefore too pale and weak.

I took my time until I finally tasted the GOT whiskys and in the meantime you read more damning judgments. Here I have to say I'm positively surprised. He is quite pleasant to drink by the way, although he is not a complexity monster.

Riverrun For the longest time the Singleton of Glendullan was only available in the States, but thanks to the Game of Thrones series we too get a taste of this. By the way… did you know that the Riverrun shots were filmed at the Gosford Castle in Northern Ireland? This castle, with its 15 bedrooms, was run as a hotel since 1983, but is up for sale since 2018 for a measly half million pounds. Anyway, I digress… Very floral and sweet nose. A touch candy-like. Spring blossoms, honey, vanilla, hint of mandarin and litchi. Coconut cookies. Light milk chocolate. Very soft on the spices. Darn, that’s too bad! The arrival is just too light. Almost watery. The taste is a continuation of the nose – very candy-like again – but somewhat more spicy. Peper and some drying wood shavings. Honey towards the end. The mandarin evolve towards bittersweet blood oranges. Medium long finish that offers nothing new. This is a bit of a one trick pony if you ask me. Nothing special.

- a simple unfortunately quite one-dimensional fruity fresh whisky - still quite young - very clear oak, seems stronger than the 40% - but for the shown quality with 40€ too expensive - unfortunately more euros went to marketing than to in Content quality...

Review GoT- Glendullan - House Tully Today I continue my journey - with the Glendullan, which stands for the already sunken house Tully in Riverrun-Schnellwasser - but later. The nose is pleasantly sweet - caramel, vanilla, a little anise - something reminiscent of licorice, with fantasy a bit of carnation - after 15 minutes, the anise becomes stronger, otherwise the air gives him nothing - but pleasant Taste: Pleasantly mild - The nose has light fruit and some spiciness, but very restrained - it is weaker than 40% - Likörchen. 46% would stand up to him - Volt even 50. Finish: mild, short, angry spoken watery (The fish feels good - quick water is appropriate here, it is quickly over and watery) - here it lacks character Total: Easy drinking - light, mild, pleasing, in my opinion suitable for beginners. Personally, I lack complexity and depth. He would not be worth the 40 € RRP - 10 € too expensive. All in all gracious 75/100, because just complacent

Rather flat affair. Nose is pleasant enough, warm, herbal with some toffee. Taste wise there is not much going on. Not at all unpleasant, just very uneventful.
Nice nose, initially drinkable, but fades relatively quickly. I don't want to and won't disparage this singleton, but it didn't knock me off my chair either. The great aroma saves it in the eighties point scale. In terms of price, 10 euros are certainly due to the advertising fanfare surrounding the Game of Thrones story.

Sweet, fruity like yellow apples, malt, mild, no alcohol, The taste is again sweet, light fruit (apple or grapes), pepper appears, has a hot, light or thin and watered effect, with a short finish.

Very neat and a smooth starter

Nose: Sweet apples. Vanilla. Sugar. Some spice. Hints of smoke. Palate: Fruity but not as sweet as the nose. Vanilla again but with a little caramel blending in. Some smoky waves. Malt coming in towards the back. Finish: Medium. Smooth and smoky. Vanilla lingering. Overall Score: 80. Very smooth and very tasty. It’s full flavored and very hearty. Perhaps the only thing I’d change would be the cask type. I think it would have been better suited with an oak cask. There’s some lovely stuff in this bottle and I think I’ll go out and get another Singleton soon.

The first whisky I drink from this series. Is also one of the softer whiskys.
