Not too complex, smooth and pleasant. A lot of peach, especially in the taste.

Easily drinkable, but very reserved in all areas.

Overall I think this is a small step up from the original Black Bush. In value this is a king. If you'd ask me I wouldn't be able to tell that this has grin whiskey in it. The malt proportion takes the show. I think this is a great Irish Whiskey. If you can find it I recommend that you try it.

Rather than grain, I would say I smell rye. Pleasantly vanilla, the sherry is lighter, I smell unripe apples. The whiskey is easy to drink, simpler, but the finish is short and slightly bitter.

Quite a pleasant, easy-to-drink whiskey at an affordable price. To my delight, the effect of the PX barrels is quite pronounced, even though I also feel a distinct graininess in the background. A bit of bitterness at the end, but not too disturbing... OK for me!

Another version of the Blackbush. Is this really necessary? I don't know, but it's nice, just like its 'brothers' (or sisters)!

Sweet and berry-like, but very thin. Almost watery. Could be really good with a bit more alcohol. What a shame.

Apple juice, candied apples and pears, banana, brown raisins, dried cherries, flower honey, caramel, plum jam, rye bread, flaxseed, light buttery and papery notes. No hint of ethanol, no grain spirits present, a pleasantly sweet nose in the Bushmills style, although the intensity of the aroma is somewhat inferior to the distillery's all-malt releases. The taste is very smooth, rounded, flat, noticeably watery, although the tones of honey, fruit, jam, light ginger-pepper burn and, finally, dried fruits, are clearly visible. The finish is short. Raisins, caramel, tart apple, and grain spirits linger with a hint of vanilla and butter. Summary. Not a standout, but an impeccably crafted blend, free of harsh edges and off-putting moments, light and pleasant, with a slight, sweetening influence from the PX casks, which softens the spirits. This release offers good value for money and slightly outperforms the standard Black Bush. It's a satisfying drink, so I think it's ideal for both company and solo enjoyment. Rating: 81 out of 100.

Tastes somehow artificial. I like the “original version” better.

N: shy, suggestions of glacé cherry followed by raisin and classic bushmills fruit, but faint. After a good amount of time this moves toward toasted cinnamon bagel! T: muted and a bit flat, dare I say smooth? Fresh green and yellow fruit, maybe a hint of more classic sherry notes, but not in your fzce. Well integrated, drying tannins on the short finish. This is a decent option, would love to taste bushy in active casks
