Quite an interesting Benrinnes. If you see it for around €50,- just buy!

Нос	87	Sweet and corny. A classic fatty bourbon barrel matured nose. There is vanilla, wood, a touch of tannins and some fudge here. Not very layered, but rather good for 12 years in active wood. With water: Not much of a change, a little more dusty perhaps?
Вкус	86	This one can use quite some water. Main taste is a bite from the alcohol. Besides that there is quite some fresh wood, vanilla and cream notes here. With water: More vanilla ice-cream and a tad bitterness.
Финиш	87	Medium - long length. Classic active bourbon wood matured whisky finish. But it turns a bit bitter in the end. Maybe a dash of water will fix this. With water: indeed more sweetness and less bitters. Get's more and more balanced over time (30 min or so)
