В аромате преобладают сладость и ягоды — лесное варенье, черника, голубика, кисловатая вишня, — дополненные лесным мёдом, кленовым сиропом, ванилью и какао, а также сочным фруктовым салатом из красного винограда, переспелой сливы, груши и персика с оттенками аниса и имбиря; многие отмечают лёгкую искусственную, конфетную сладость и молодость спирта, у отдельных авторов проскакивает нота горелой пластмассы. Во вкусе — маслянистая, кремовая подача, ягодная сладость, пряный имбирь, ваниль, карамель, молочный шоколад и заметная пряно-горьковатая дубовость; послевкусие среднее по длине, ягодно-пряное, суховатое, с обилием дуба, у части ревьюеров кисловатое и травянистое. Главная и почти единодушная претензия — избыток дуба от новых бочек малого объёма, который подавляет остальные ноты и не оправдывает обещаний богатого аромата; ценителям дубовых виски это понравится, остальным дуба многовато. Оценки согласованы и держатся в узком коридоре 79–87, так что резких расхождений нет. Опытные авторы в целом благосклонны (84–87), но прямо указывают, что этот выпуск уступает прежним сезонным релизам Mackmyra; менее опытные чаще подчёркивают необычность и молодость и нередко заключают, что образца достаточно, а бутылку брать не станут.

Overall quite lovely but I don't think it is on the same level as earlier iterations of Mackmyra's seasonal whiskies.

A nice everyday dram.

Нос	86	Forest honey, maple syrup, dried fruits, slightly sour cider notes, but also nice cocoa aromas (milk chocolate).
Вкус	85	Saliva stimulates, the forest honey is the basic taste. Woody, leathery, creamy aromas create the flavor.
Финиш	82	Somewhat bitter and woody, medium to long and unspectacular.

Delicious nose, and a palate that would have been great if it was not that oak forward. I guess that’s the risk when you use new oak and small casks. New oak gives out its spiciness and characteristics quite strongly since they have not been washed away but the previous content, and the small casks lead to more wood contact. For someone who likes woody whiskies, it will be a hit. For those who like a bit less oak, it’s still a good whisky, though a bit too woody. And for those who don’t like woody whiskies, they’ll have to pass on this one. It will be a shame because of all the other flavours and the delicious nose, though. As for me, I’m on the medium category: not too much, but I don’t mind a bit of oak. Regarding the berry wine influence though, nothing stood really to me but as I said, I’ve never tried this type of wine before. In the end, I think I liked Grönt Te a bit more, but Jaktlycka (and just so you know, I failed typing the name on the first try here) is still a fine good dram, so I’ll give it an 83.

Нос	86	Very fruity initial nose merged with vanilla and honey. A delicious and juicy fruit salad with red grape, overripe plum, pear and peach, spiced with a bit of aniseed and ginger. More summer than autumn on the nose! Very sweet.
Вкус	80	Good arrival, sweet and spicy, with a creamy mouthfeel. Ginger, prickly sugar sweets, pear caramel, milk chocolate and vanilla give out a rich and luscious palate. There’s also a bit of bitterness and spiciness from the wood, mostly the new oak I think, but it’s I think a bit too much overpowering. Red and dark berries but I wouldn’t be able to precisely tell you which ones. Caramel again and dried apricots.
Финиш	83	Warm and medium in length, on caramel, stone fruits, milk chocolate, a bit of pepper and a lot of oak.

My first Mackmyra, pretty unusual, really not bad whisky just different. Would say heavy in dimensions Really sweet in all dimensions Definitively distillery to try more from

Nice, fruity malt. Lots of exceptional berry notes. I don't think it's bad, drinkable, but a sample is still enough.

Нос	85	soft on the nose, the fruity berry notes emerge directly. Forest fruit jam, actually something like blueberries / bilberries; a sour cherry aroma makes it a little more varied. plus a slightly artificial sweetness like candy. Vanilla with a yogurt fruit curd. In the background lies fresh oak, with a little nutmeg and cinnamon.
Вкус	84	also here a rather creamy, soft beginning, alcohol is not really noticeable and well integrated. Fruity of red berries with a pleasant sweetness that is now a bit like vanilla and honey and no longer looks artificial. Vanilla and caramelized popcorn lie in the background. Then a spicy oak that appears slightly ginger-hot comes through.
Финиш	84	Medium-long finish, still fruity with that dark berry sweetness, but turns sour; in addition there are always herbs; gets a little drier

without water Is that still whisky? Yes, definitely very interesting. Cons: too much wood and it doesn't deliver the taste and finish that the nose suggests

Sparkling summer freshness in a glass. The Jaktlycka is another Mackmyra that I really like, especially the beautiful associations with 80s chewing gum.

Spicy on the nose, mixed with light grapes and some chamomile (?). Yes, it really seems to me that way. I also find the anise from the original description, along with pears and caramel. Then oily and spicy in the mouth, like mulled wine and a little bitter oak. A slight (ginger -?) Spiciness rounds off the whole thing. I find the fruity-spicy berries in the finish, plus oak, almost woody and relatively long-lasting for a Mackmyra. Chic, unusual if you compare it to Scots, but also not exceptional.

Experience in the wild forests of Sweden! Unfortunately, I find it a bit unbalanced in taste. Could have been a little more harmonious between the fruitiness and the oak load. Nevertheless, the alcohol is nicely integrated and transports good aromas. You can indulge yourself.

Although young. but interesting whisky, matured in exotic berry wine barrels. Not a high flyer, but pleasant to drink

I actually liked the overall picture of the whisky and I have to say you should try the Mackmyra Jaktlycka and get your own picture.

Нос	84	The first impression is malty and sweet and the smell is reminiscent of “Bavarian block malt sweets”. Next come very fruity notes, which are strong, but somehow not palpable at first, as rather unusual, but still pleasant on the nose. After a long smell, it is reminiscent of berries and raisins. A smell of fresh hay is also perceptible as well as vegetable and pepper aromas. The whole bouquet is accompanied by a nice note of vanilla. Pleasant on the nose, but not very long, rather fleeting. Nevertheless, the nose whets the appetite for what is to follow.
Вкус	82	Here again malt and a taste of freshly baked bread. There are also many fruit notes and the taste of almonds and nuts. Later the whisky becomes peppery on the palate and a note of beeswax can also be seen. The vanilla, which was still very present in the nose, appears rather subtle here. On the other hand, there is a small, very tart note of moisture on the palate, yes, I would say the taste of a damp cellar is present here. This is a rather unusual note, but surprisingly it goes very well with the rest of the flavor profile and somehow rounds the whole thing off.
Финиш	82	The finish is rather dry and short. Here light notes of citrus fruit and some walnut come to the fore. 84

Especially in the glass, this malt doesn't hide what it promises before. Lingonberry and blueberry are there, plus a light herbal note and sweetness. Everything fits the name, but this whisky has no chance of a permanent place with me. The sample is enough for me. Nevertheless, it was always interesting.

Sirupy nordic malt, with lots of wild fruits and good balance with the wood. Clearly young, especially in the thin and nearly negligible nose, but without alcohol edges, while the oak influence is well integrated with the berry wine, avoiding any sweetness. The finish is surprisingly warm and rounded, lingering notes of warm dried fruits. Another worthy experiment from Mackmyra, imho one of the most interesting distilleries outside the "usual" countries.
