В аромате преобладает тёмная сладость и спелые фрукты: сливочная карамель, бриошь, тёмный мёд, апельсиновый джем и кленовый сироп с деликатным винным оттенком, а также жёлтые яблоки, персики, абрикосовый джем, цветочный мёд и лёгкие ноты лака и смолы. Вкус маслянистый и полнотелый, сладкий и мягко-пряный: влияние красного вина заметнее, но не подавляет фрукты — абрикос, банан, персик, намёк на манго, ваниль, дрожжевая выпечка с крошкой и медовая горчинка с горьким апельсином. Послевкусие от среднего до долгого, пряное, с яблочным пюре, молодым дубом и горько-апельсиновым тоном; многие отмечают запоминающуюся длину. Хвалят баланс, интегрированный алкоголь, комфортную крепость ниже 46% и нехарактерную для дистиллерии насыщенную, менее цветочную манеру, близкую к 18-летним розливам.
Опытные ревьюеры единодушно положительны (86–87) и подчёркивают удачный, атипичный профиль и отличное соотношение цены и качества в сегменте повседневного виски около 70 евро. Расхождение идёт по линии цены и позиционирования: часть менее авторитетных авторов при схожем описании профиля считает розлив переоценённым (около 90 евро), критикует сдержанную интенсивность вкуса, добавленный краситель, отсутствие указания возраста и посредственный подбор бочек, видя в нём продукт для массового рынка и маркетинга. При этом разброс оценок невелик (в основном 83–88), а описания вкусоароматики согласованы; спор идёт не о качестве напитка, а о его ценности за деньги.

Nice In 2025, Glenmorangie made a big impression when it partnered with Hollywood legend Harrison Ford for a series of commercials. These were not only very funny and well-made, but – as became apparent in May 2026 – also the lead-up to an exclusive Glenmorangie x Harrison Ford release. It is a malt that matured in both Bourbon and toasted Portuguese red wine casks. It starts dark and sweet on butterscotch and brioche, drizzled with dark honey. Then follows something of orange jam and maple syrup with a subtle hint of red wine. It is all perfectly balanced here, mind you. This is a very pleasant nose. Indiana Jones would love this. It is deliciously oily. Immediately very sweet and softly spicy, where the influence of the red wine is now much more prominent, but far from overdone, allowing plenty of fruit to shine through. Think apricots, banana, peach, and even a hint of mango. This is tasty! Han Solo would love this. The finish is long, spicy, and quite memorable. Jack Ryan would love this. Great whisky, really. An even somewhat atypical Glenmorangie. I understand very well why Harrison Ford (apart from the fat check, without a doubt) would attach his name to this. To put it in his words: 'Nice'.
If it weren't for the "Harrison Ford" inscription, this whisky would probably have been a no-brainer for me. I'd have looked for a "sample," as I admit Glenmorangie isn't my favorite distillery. However, for me, it performs very well here, and especially for around €70, it's truly excellent for a whisky in the "Daily Dram" segment. Delicate, fruity, with sweetness and vanilla, but also with hints of honey and bitterness. Overall, I can confidently say it's quite well put together. I don't have many bottles with less than 50% ABV, so this will be one of the few, but I'll certainly remember it fondly as a whisky for leisurely sipping while enjoying a good read. It's certainly not something to down in one gulp and forget I ever had anything like it in my "collection."

I bought a large sample at a trade fair and later tried it at my leisure, because the Harrison Ford advertisement had caught my attention and piqued my interest. Here's my overall impression of the bottling: The whisky is quite nice, the alcohol is well integrated, the strength is ideal, the bottling is flawless, and ultimately quite drinkable. It's significantly better than the Glenmorangie 12, which I found barely palatable. The flavor intensity of the 'Harrison Ford' is restrained, and the mouthfeel is okay. However, there are so many better whiskies on the market for around €90 that I wouldn't buy this bottle. It would be fantastic if the owners spent less money on the admittedly well-done advertising and invested more in cask management. With this whisky, it would also be nice, in my opinion, if they didn't use any added coloring, defined an age statement, and incorporated a few better casks into the vatting. Ultimately, I believe this bottling is primarily aimed at the mass market. Glenmorangie's marketing concept seems to be working perfectly, as numerous YouTubers are effectively promoting the promotional packaging, which was apparently sent free of charge to select influencers, as intended. The fact that the package also includes popcorn and a tumbler further emphasizes the target audience of this bottling. This audience clearly does not include whisky nerds.

Beautiful fruity nose, complex aromas. On the palate, you notice the wine's fruity notes and the good Glenmorangie character. Even a medium-length exit is pleasing. Nice whisky, but at €90 it's far too expensive in my opinion. For €60 or €70 I would have treated myself to a full-size bottle instead of a sample, but it's not worth that much to me, sorry.

Truly delicious: malty, sweet, warming. Subtle yet distinct. Full-bodied. Much less floral than many Glenmorangies. Not overpowered by the red wine, simply well-balanced. And with a long finish. In my opinion, definitely worth the money, and somehow it really does suit the actor Harrison Ford.
A beautiful, full-bodied whisky that is not a classic Glenmorangie.
