A rock solid single malt from Glenfarclas. No Sherry Monster with complex flavors, but a delicious all-day dram. In my opinion, a great PLV! The only criticism is the missing age (NAS) and the sparse information about this bottling.

the finish and nose are spot on but the taste is far of from those two ,I can't see the link between this whisky and why they choose the name passion for it, it doesn't taste like a whisky with lots of passion 77/100

Glenfarclas bottled three NAS whiskys especially for the German market. This Multi Vintage Trilogy is known as The legend of Speyside. The names are taken from three key traits of the distillery's history, passion, origin and collaboration. Little is known about its composition. The youngest whiskys used are eight years old and the casks come from the Spanish cooperage José & Miguel Martin. In 2014 the whisky was bottled un-chill filtered at a strength of 46%. There are only 6000 bottles available per variety. The color is dark gold

Tasted on 30.05.2022. Nose: Apricots, sherry, chocolate, cinnamon Taste: Peppery, long aftertaste, sweet and salty

Farclas that found it’s place in my memory.. for sure! So… I got quite lucky coz this stuff is super unavailable in 2023, luckily for me there is plenty Vietnamese mini-markets in Prague with this overpriced stuff (I mean same overpriced price from 2016), luckily I got my hands on 2 bottles + Spring. No one have even moved those bottles on those shelves since then, dust all over the caps. Back to important stuff. The taste is quite unique, in a way that this is younger and clearly not that affected by sherry casks, for me perfect because I was always bigger fan of farclas malty taste rather than its perfect sherry notes. Starting this bottle was amazing, exactly what I was expecting, super-nice malt only little sherry and 46 ABV which is quite unusual also. Then, being half way through the bottle a slight spiciness starts to emerge which seems to be common for younger bottlings in general, the more is missing in the bottle the more spiciness comes out. Turns out this one tastes best when you already had like 3-4 glasses of something else. Then it tastes special and magnificent and all the farclas malt is just yours, pure and godlike. It tastes literally like your most favorite just freshly made bread, but made out of pure Glenfarclas essence! Overall, exceptional but tastes best once you get little drunk :D Will miss it once it’s gone from this world, that’s for sure!
