Морской, дымный Talisker с фруктовой сладостью и пряной перечностью; опытные ставят высоко и хвалят зрелость, расхождения минимальны — критика лишь за маловыразительность и растущую дубовость.

В аромате преобладают солёно-морские ноты (соль, морской бриз, лимон-икра, водоросли), костровой и барбекю-дым, к которым добавляются печёные яблоки, лесные ягоды, изюм, сливовое вино, ваниль, крем-брюле, воск и свежая древесина; хересные тона и сухофрукты отмечают отдельные ревьюеры. Вкус маслянистый и плотный, пряно-перечный с чили, уравновешенный сочной фруктовой сладостью (холодный фруктовый чай, карамелизированные фрукты, солёная помадка), с горьковатым дубом, орехами, ирисом и переходом к тёмному шоколаду; послевкусие долгое, с возвращающимся дымом, ванилью и лёгкой солёностью. Хвалят за гармонию, сочетание крепости и фруктовости, зрелость, выходящую за возраст, и «дремотную» питкость, особенно в хайболе. Оценки согласованы плотно (в основном 86–90), опытные ревьюеры держатся 87–90 и подчёркивают зрелость и мечтательную мягкость, тогда как остальные чуть чаще отмечают уход в дубовость, слабую запоминаемость и нехватку фирменной таликеровской свежести; серьёзных расхождений между группами нет.

It has a strong aged liquor flavor, sweet malt, melon seeds, smoky yet light notes, cedar, oily, spicy, and a slightly peaty finish.

Nose: Smokier than the 10's (but of course no comparison to Islay), BBQ campfire smoke, you immediately think of a barbecue on the beach, tea-fruit mix (forest berries), baking apples, seasoning like a warm fruit punch in winter , subtle oak wood Taste: spicy on the palate, tingling and peppery, but immediately fights a nice juicy fruit note (cold fruit tea) against it. Also some salt and a bitter oak note join it. In the wonderfully long finish, the smoke announces itself again and the seasoning (Chilli) is already significantly mitigated. Wonderful whisky - that's how a Talisker must be. Strong and fruity at once. Wonderful harmonious dream whisky!

Very good talisker. Even better as a highball.
Нос 91 Great nose, with salt, caviar lemon, new wood. Light vanilla and pastry cream. Beautiful caramelized fruit.
Вкус 88 On the palate, a very pleasant sweetness. Salty, bitter orange, lemon, dry wood, vanilla, it's very pleasant.
Финиш 91 Long finish on vanilla, Super nose, on saline, caviar lemon, new wood. Light vanilla and pastry cream. Beautiful caramelized fruit. white, the fruit of the orchard. Superb.

It has an oily viscosity and its bouquet is of relatively high intensity. I have aromas of pleasant smoke, raisin syrup, plum wine, vanilla, creme brulee and beeswax. Relatively complex malt. A good balance between sweetness and dryness in terms of taste. The alcohol is well integrated and it has a heavy body.

Вкус 88 Intense, pepper, nuts, raisins, also slightly waxy, toffee, nougat, bitterness from the wood, goes towards dark chocolate, becomes increasingly woody.
Финиш 88 The dark chocolate remains, along with a very slight saltiness, the first time that I have had a slight maritime impression here, otherwise the barrel dominates, I think. Long after swallowing, the smokiness comes through more intensely.

Light peat and sherry. Saltier than recent Talisker. It's light, but it's getting spicier.
