В аромате — красные и тропические фрукты, спелый персик, абрикос, ваниль, орех, травяные и эфирные ноты; один из авторов подробно описывает ромовую сивушность, обилие эфиров, лак и жвачку, которые со временем уступают место спелым фруктам, цветочному мёду и тёмному шоколаду. Во вкусе поначалу сладость и сочный фрукт (персик, абрикос, манго), затем очень интенсивная пряность, оттенок соли и минеральности, лёгкая горчинка какао. Послевкусие долгое, пряное, танинное, с дубовой сухостью, имбирём и мёдом; несколько дегустаторов отмечают характерную мощную сухость от винной бочки. Опытные ревьюеры оценивают сдержаннее (86–87) и разбирают нюансы: один фиксирует привычный ментол от винной бочки, но подчёркивает, что здесь напиток не «расплывается» во рту, а плотно держится; другой отмечает сладко-виннокаменный аромат, перечную пряность и вяжущесть, тяготея к 87. Менее опытные щедрее (88–89) и эмоциональнее, хваля питкость, фруктовость и выгодное соотношение цены и качества относительно шотландских образцов. Общее расхождение невелико: все сходятся, что это дикий, необузданный молодой односолодовый, раскрывающийся с водой и временем; разброс оценок узкий (86–89), недовольных нет, критика сводится лишь к необходимости «укрощать» спиртуозность и агрессивную пряность.

If a whisky has matured in a wine cask or even just experienced a somewhat longer finish in one, 95% of the time I'll notice menthol in my nose, on my palate, and/or in the finish. This was also the case here. However, unlike many Scots or Irish whiskies, the wine cask doesn't have such an effect that I feel like the whisky is just floating freely in my mouth, no longer sitting on my tongue or clinging to my palate. Quite the opposite. My sixth Indri.

I wouldn't say the wine is pronounced here, although the characteristic powerful dryness is clearly felt in the aftertaste! I expected something exotic, but here everything is more rounded in the classical direction! In any case, not disappointed! Difficulty of note breakdown: 5/10 22 22 22 21

I am very surprised by this whisky. However, it is true that whisky is not limited to Scotland. A very good alternative, very drinkable, warming, very fruity with juicy peach in the foreground. I like this dram!

A wild, impetuous single cask that needs to be tamed with plenty of water and a lot of time in the glass. Interesting, exciting and definitely competitive.

Нос	88	Great nose after the alcohol was tamed by the addition of water, red fruit, vanilla, nut, a little herb and ethereal freshness.
Вкус	87	Nice sweetness and fruit at the start, then very intense spiciness.
Финиш	86	Good wood and dryness in the long finish.

I was one of the few who got to try it. And this Piccadily malt didn't disappoint once again, proving that the distillery has its own style, character, and signature. Nose: bright, powerful, and rich. It greets you with rum funk, lots of esters, varnish, bubblegum, and sour milk. After a while, the tropical varnish and esters subside, and sweet ripe fruits emerge: peaches, apricots, kiwi, flower honey, dark chocolate. The taste is bright, enveloping, and complex. A slight bitterness of chocolate, cocoa, and a huge amount of ripe, juicy peaches and apricots, mango, a touch of salt and minerality. The finish is long, spicy, tannic, cocoa, ginger, and honey.
