Один из самых фруктовых Littlemill: сливочный, с тропическими фруктами, мёдом и травянистыми оттенками. Опытные хвалят глубину и гармонию, остальные спорят о завышенной цене и мыльно-травянистом послевкусии.

В аромате — свежесть и насыщенная фруктовость: зелёные яблоки, цитрусовая цедра, грейпфрут, мёд, ваниль и сливочно-масляное печенье, с травянистыми и слегка сдержанными, «книжными» оттенками; у некоторых нос закрытый, но многослойный. Во вкусе преобладают экзотические фрукты — ананас, манго, папайя, маракуйя, — маслянистая сливочная текстура, мёд, воск, лёгкая пряность и ваниль; тело полное, зрелое, сбалансированное. Послевкусие длинное, тёплое, медово-фруктовое с пряностью и табачно-древесными нотами, иногда с травянистой и мыльной горчинкой. Опытные ревьюеры единодушны: это один из лучших встреченных ими Littlemill, отмечая выдающуюся тропическую фруктовость, глубину и филигранную гармонию. Часть менее авторитетных оценок выше (вплоть до 98) за исключительность, тогда как критика касается недостатка яркости, мыльно-травянистого послевкусия и того, что вкус не оправдывает обещаний аромата, а также явно завышенной цены (~520€), из-за которой более округлые Littlemill доступнее вдвое дешевле. Разброс оценок узкий (в основном 89–94), что говорит о высокой согласованности при расхождениях лишь в отношении цены и финального впечатления.

Definitely one of the most fruity Littlemills - really drinkable and enjoyable - great!
Нос 93 Fresh, intense, lots of green fruits, green apple, lime zest, grapefruit, carambole, citric, little leafy and grassy hints, honeydew, icing sugar, wet hay, white pepper - wow, really fruity - great!
Вкус 93 Oily, creamy, little sirupy, good sweetness, more fruity, but more on tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, little spicy, little austere, hints of vanilla, of course also some leafy and grassy notes - still great!
Финиш 92 Long, warm, honey, fruity, creamy, spicy, little leafy and grassy, little more austere and herbal - very good

Very obviously Littlemill and one of the better ones I've tried. Good depth, nice creamy mouthfeel, and quite fruity. It's as good as some of best Littlemills released 7-8 years ago when they were in their mid-20's. I remember those were perhaps fresher, fruitier and sometimes "zestier" but this 30yo does have better depth of flavor. I have a few more of those in the bunker, so I don't feel the need to buy this particular one even though it's still available at its initial retail price. The price itself maybe a reason...

Nose - ripe bananas, cookies, citrus peel, grassy, ​​multi-flower honey, very fruity and pleasant. Taste - honey, vanilla, fruity on, bourbon sweetness, ripe pineapple, and then grassy. Finish - lasting, the power of sweetness of ripe yellow fruits, delicate spice, vanilla appears at the end.

Very harmonious, a filigree little mill with a lot of depth.

Финиш 93 Rhubarb, citric, grass, tobacco, spicy, well-stored wood. Long finish, very pleasant aftertaste.

A good to very good Littlemill, although the grassy and soapy notes on the finish bother me. Therefore, it's overpriced in my opinion; I have a more rounded Littlemill in my portfolio for half the price. The nose is the best.

The taste does not deliver what the nose promises. Very nice fruity nose that disappears a bit in the mouth, but the overwhelming finish makes up for everything. In short ... a good Littlemill with a price tag, but yes, they won't get any cheaper ...

Special whisky, impresses with its elegant and complex appearance.
