В аромате — мёд, ваниль, карамель и свежие жёлтые фрукты (яблоко, персик, абрикос, груша), цитрусовая цедра, миндаль и лёгкая злаковость с оттенком кукурузы; чувствуется бурбонная бочка, у некоторых — нотки старого дерева и растворителя. Вкус деликатный, сладкий и чистый, с мягкой текстурой, солодом, злаками, немного дуба и пряностей; тела маловато, ощущается тонковатым. Послевкусие короткое, сладко-фруктовое, с лёгкой пряностью и заметной для многих сыроватой горчинкой на выходе, из-за которой напиток теряет баллы. Хвалят чистоту, лёгкую питкость и соотношение цены и качества — как честный тройной перегонки купаж, годный на каждый день и как нейтральный образец для сброса вкусовых ощущений перед дегустацией солодовых. Критикуют плоскость, простоту, недостаток характера и горчащий финал; отдельные голоса называют его пустым, скучным или пригодным лишь для коктейлей и разбавления. Расхождение между опытными выражено сильно: их оценки колеблются от 54 до 81 — верхняя часть видит один из лучших стандартных розливов, нижняя списывает как дешёвый мешалочный купаж; менее опытные держатся плотнее, в основном 72–78, сходясь на «приятно, но заурядно».

Нос	75	Sweet. Mix of vanilla and fresh fruit. Quite volatile for a blende and well-covered alcohol. Apples, maybe some citrus. Apple pie with crumble. Yes, there are definitely citrus.
Вкус	75	Delicate, sweet, vanilla, fresh fruit. There is a little grain, oak and a minimal amount of spices.
Финиш	71	At the beginning, it is slightly spicy and warming up. There is some sweetness and fruitiness. Caramel appeared next to the vanilla. The aromas evaporate rather quickly, leaving a light spice.

N- Gentle and light, typically Irish. Sweet new-make, caramel and vanilla, zesty orange peel. Minimum present of grain, notable sweet corn. P- Effortless, clean and fresh. On the nose, vanilla, honey, and red fruits, mixed with almonds and some cereals, which is confirmed on the palate. Sandalwood. Papier d'Arménie. Young apple, a mint leaf. It's mixed with a little molasses, caramel, and lemon, and on the finish, a touch of coarse salt is felt, a grain of redcurrant. It's a little acrid and spicy, not very long in the mouth. Damp red earth. Slight acidity. Varnished wood. A little solvent to finish. Cola. It's not bad at all. Come on, honestly it's not that bad, and for the price it's well above a lot of supermarket whiskeys.

Нос	75	A very simple nose, with a watery side of old days. Honey, yellow fruit, almond. It's simple, a little too much.
Вкус	82	On the palate, it's still on the yellow fruit. Peach, apricot, almond, vanilla. And honey. It's sweet, soft, very simple, too simple, but nothing unpleasant.
Финиш	79	Sweet finish on honey, freshly cut grass, yellow fruit. It's quite short, but sweet and pleasant.

The classic Irish blend, Bushmills Original is made up of grain whiskey matured for five years before blending with malt whiskeys. Triple distilled and very supple.

06/19/2025 - 30 ml + 30 ml with ice With thanks to Dr. Geraldo Silveira, who brought a bottle directly from Ireland and shared the dose with me. Better than Jameson, too bad it's not officially available in Brazil.

Нос	77	Honey, lemon, citronella, old wood, but also old reclaimed barrel wood. Medium spiciness. Vanilla, fresh fruit, some flowers but all very apparent. A slight charring from the barrel, as well as light leather. The ex-Bourbon is strong and manages to overpower the mediocre barrel. Some yeast, as well as malt and very mature grains. If it weren't for the bad wood, this would be a fine example of ec-Bourbon. Notes of powdered sugar and spices gradually open up. With water, I opened sponge cake, marzipan, yeast dough and some citrus. The bad barrel, sorry for bothering me with my insistence, is camouflaged a little. Notes of dark chocolate with malt. With ice, the label revealed, it became sweeter, sugary and the bad wood was gone. The spices increased, with cinnamon standing out. Definitely better than Jameson, too bad it doesn't come to Brazil.
Вкус	73	Old and bad wood, but also has vanilla, honey, harvested cereals, malt, sugar and some light, very subtle spices (cinnamon, cardamom, anise and nutmeg). Herbaceous from ethyl alcohol, but without the spiciness, which in turn is low. Some oiliness. With water, I'm bothered by old wood, but not ancient. Other than that, it has bitterness, vanilla and honey sweetness, and tannins. With ice it was stronger, with notes of ethyl alcohol (herbaceous), honey and the blessed old wood; what a shame.
Финиш	67	Medium finish, with cooked vegetables, cooked fruit, light tannin, bitterness, light vanilla; the reused wood remains from the beginning.

Vanilla, lemon, buttery, decent but simple bourbon x sherry oak entry level blend. A bit thin and falls short on the bitter finish note. Would probably work well in an Irish coffee.

I do not share the enthusiasm from this distillery. Empty whiskey, boring, although not bad quality. But for my money it’s very expensive.

The entry level of Bushmills is a correct whiskey. It will not make you travel very far, but it is rather pleasant to drink even if it is a bit boring.

Very, very solid blend in good price. It's mild and sweet, perfect for mixers but could be drunk with ice also. Light, golden colour of the liquid. A lot of sweet-honey notes and grassy elements. For sure, I would bet on Bushmills White in comparisons with Scotch whiskey at similar price. Colour: light, golden, natural, similar to apple juice Nose: sweet - honey, pear, apple, a little bit alcoholic but mild, vanilla, grassy notes Taste: sweet but a bit spicy, honey, vanilla, grassy, alcoholic taste after some time Finish: sweet, warm, spicy, then 'wooden' and at the very end it's grassy/hay Rating: ~2,5/5
