Классический бурбонный Bruichladdich без торфа: свежий, ванильно-фруктовый, лёгкий и питкий. Опытные ценят «старомодный» восковой характер и послевкусие, средние хвалят соотношение цена/качество, но многих отталкивает пробивающийся спирт и перечная резкость.

В аромате преобладают свежесть и сладость — ваниль, цитрус, жёлтые и тропические фрукты (груша, ананас, кокос), цветочные и травяные ноты, у опытных дегустаторов проступает пыльная восковатость в духе Clynelish, дрожжевые и солодовые тона, воск, солёный арахис, мох. Вкус мягкий, округлый, с плотным маслянистым телом; отмечают ваниль, сливочную ириску, мёд, сухой дуб, цитрус и едва уловимый торф на дальнем плане, но у части авторов быстро выступает жгучая имбирно-перечная пряность, вяжущесть и «слёзовыжимающий» жар. Послевкусие чаще длинное, сухое, слегка солёное и перечное, с мёдом, лаймом и чёрным чаем, хотя некоторые находят его резким или уплощённым. Опытные ставят ровно 85–87, ценя «старомодный» бурбонный характер, отличное послевкусие, зовущее к новому глотку, и отсутствие торфа как знак исходного стиля винокурни; их оценки согласованны и заметно сдержаннее восторгов. Среди остальных разброс шире (76–94): одни называют это «ванильной бомбой» и лучшим повседневным виски с отличным соотношением цена/качество, другие критикуют плохо интегрированный, назойливый спирт, невыразительность и доминирующий перец, вытесняющий сладость. Общий рейтинг 84 отражает этот компромисс: крепкий, честный, недорогой дневной молт без выдающейся глубины.

Nose:- Minty & eucalyptus upfront. Soft and lightly pungent. Let the dram breath in the glass for a while, hay and wet tree branches emerged, moist. Palate:- A shock. Don't taste how it smell like. Very astringent and bold. Non spicy but very hot, mouth-full with gingery spice, the heats building up and up. Eye watering stuff. Finish:- Smooth and long finish. Dry and hot throughout, complex. A touch floral. — at The Whisky Bar, Kuala Lumpur.

Нос 86 Some OBF, a nice dusty waxiness (almost like Clynelish), a bit yeasty, malty.
Вкус 87 Lovely sweetness on the tongue; good (thick, oily) body. Subdued, subtle peat in the distant background. Hay, citrus, honey, dry oak.
Финиш 85 Honeyed black tea with lemon. Chalk, limestone, a touch of wet wool.

A very delicious part, also easy-drinking, but pretty full in the mouth and what is becoming rarer: A great finish that calls right after the next sip. The nose could be a bit more succinct.

A beautiful bottling with a nice old school touch. I really enjoyed it! I've rarely had anything like this in my glass recently.

Colour : Light Amber Smell : Fresh, with a hint of pear Taste : Soft, sweet, apple, vanilla The nose is very attractive and fresh, with aromas of vanilla, citrus and yellow fruit. Canned tropical fruit on the palate, with the addition of vanilla ice cream. Soft and round, with a savory finish and slightly peppery.

A replacement to the original 10 year old, which is now off the market. A clean, straightforward dram with a lightness and freshness which is very inviting. Notes of vanilla cream, light caramel, tropical fruit (coconut, pineapple), clementine, pear, and a hint of currant. Appetizing, subtly briny finish.

Has nothing for me that distinguishes him. Interchangeable, limited flavors, poorly integrated alcohol. Don't convince me.

Вкус 80 Soft at the beginning, then becoming peppery, pear, spices
Финиш 81 Almost medium-long finish with pear, malt, vanilla. The alcohol is intrusive.

Fell in love with the nose of this Islay. A lot going on there: vanilla, flowers and smoke. Great. Taste is a bit light, Finish is a bit sharp, but overall a great whisky.

I have 5 cl sampel hopfully its an okey dram with te mixed reviews
Нос 85 The first that hits is sweet and fresh reely enjoy it, its line oak tree green fresh and yellow fruit
Вкус 86 Easy arrival, feels thin in the beginning then the oilyness arrive with the green freshness arive with some oak,, bitter lime
Финиш 86 Long lime freshness and oily relly good boddy and dept, i reely enjoy this one

So if everyone is talking about "sherry bombs", this is a "vanilla bomb". Clearly recognizable flavors, in good drinking strength. A good everyday Islay ...

I'm falling in love even more every time I drink the 12yo. And by that the bottle gets emptier. This is just an exceptional good, rather affordable whisky. The balance between vanilla, creamy toffee & peat is just paying of my respect every time I drink it. This whisky was the first one who opened the door for me tot the world of good whisky's, and I'm thankful for that. Can't wait for another young Bruichladdich, hope they won't be selling organic, blackart or other don't know whats in the bottle whisky to much.

This is quite a pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting this kind of quality to be honest. A very enjoyable dram that will have a place in my cabinet for the coming time. Recommended.

I like the tropical sweet nose the best. Unfortunately, the taste and the finish is a bit back, here for me the pepper is too dominant and displaces the sweetness and the fruity Brennereicharakter Bruichladdich a bit too strong. 84/100

Nose: Light fruit acidity, a bit rubber (think springbank), a bit oak, a tad butter and salt, multivitamin juice Mouth: malt, a bit pepper and mint, very oily Finish: a tad peat, mint, grassy, relatively sweet, a bit sharp Comments: good value but i think the "laddie 10" is the better buy here.

The Bruichladdich 12 is my favorite "whenever-you-want-whisky" with great cost-benefit ratio!

Timid bouquet offers lean smells of earth, beeswax, salted peanuts, moss and dry grain. Palate entry is lovely, feminine, moderately briny, zesty and peppery; midpalate maintains the spiciness established in the entry and carries that forward on an medium-oily texture. Ends a touch flattened out and meek.

Bruichladdich 12 year old tasted 2015-04-30 @ home: Nosing: Fenolish, partly reminiscent of nail polish in the background, otherwise sweet herbs. Taste: fiery fruit on, longer burner, with strong sweetness, clear Bourbon Cask in order, 78
