All in all a pretty good dram if it hadn't cost more than €30. Maybe it would have been on the shelf but €90 is really not worth it in my opinion.

Нос 84 Oily, chocolate, maritime, peat? Not really.
Вкус 84 Red fruit, chocolate, raisins, the taste of Bowmore almost always reminds me of oil capsules, luckily no Omega 3 capsules this time. Quite weak also for 40%.

I am surprised about this 10 year old bottling. Bowmore with Aston Martin machine oil, a great nose. 71-80 – Fine, like to drink by time

Although to me it is very similar to the 10-year version from Travel Retail, which is perhaps not coincidentally called the same as this Drak & Intense. This whisky is a combination of distinctly vegetable and bitter chocolate-sweeter tones, plus possibly a gentle and simple smokiness. Нос 88 N: I have little experience with bowmore but oh how I like that scent. That farm-like. You smell the stable. Motor oil, wet leather, smoke, oranges wrapped in chocolate salted bacon, tea biscuits.
Вкус 85 P: orange peel, smoke, and it reminds me of the bacon on a pancake. Quite thin and watery. Oily, diluted coffee.

Genuinely do not understand the hype. This tastes like plastic, fuel (diesel) and food colouring. Genuine disappointed in this....maybe I got a bad batch but I can't be the only one thinking this. Pay the extra and buy the classic 15 or the classic 18

Not bad, but not particularly good either... Barely smoky, slightly sweet and bacony... I can imagine that this Bowmore would have caused more of a stir as a cask strength...

- a really good 10 year old single malt - very aromatic & powerful and at the same time soft and pleasant to drink - you have to like smoke, but then you will definitely like the combination, - far better than the standard 12 J. - for about 60 - 70€ per liter it is definitely an option

...it doesn't have a monopoly on complexity, but it's a solid, good Bowmore, probably aged in good casks, and at £35 a liter (at Edinburgh Airport in 2022) the liter bottle is very good value for money!

Bowmore 10 Years Aston Martin (40%, OB, 2021) Nose: Certainly a very elegant first impression with tropical notes of mango, papaya and pineapple, accompanied by gentle, sweet peat smoke, oranges and allspice. Maybe just a tinge of struck matches, but also some sultanas. Taste: Zesty citrus combined with a good amount of salt, raisins and an ashy smoke. A hint of treacle, chocolate and bacon as well. Really enjoyable. However, as expected, the mouthfeel is rather thin, slightly watery. Finish: Tinned tropical fruits, spices and bonfire smoke. Medium in length.

I am a supporter and fan of Bowmore. This whisky, despite its young age, is very correct and well-balanced. Sweet, aromatic, fruity with beautifully blended smoky and peat ingredients. I am glad that I could try it, and even more so that I can do it every now and then by buying the whole bottle, not a sample.

In contrast to the "normal" 10-pack Dark&Intense, significantly better barrels were used. It is therefore not a "high flyer", but it is solidly made and gives the connoisseur pleasant impressions. It's nice that it ends mildly and sweetly again at the end.
