Насыщенный медово-фруктовый Linkwood из бурбонной бочки с яркой апельсиновой нотой и тропическими фруктами; опытные ставят его высоко (89–90), рядовые оценки ровно держатся на 86–90, расхождения минимальны.

В аромате доминируют мёд, апельсин (апельсиновое масло и цитрусовый концентрат) и обилие спелых тропических фруктов — ананас, манго, грейпфрут, помело, банан, дыня, гуава — на кремово-медовой основе, дополненной ванилью, дубом, смолой, марципаном и травянисто-пряными, почти «лесными» оттенками (хвоя, мох, влажный камень), причём напиток кажется темнее и плотнее типичного двадцатилетнего из бурбонной бочки, а вода делает его слаще и подчёркивает минеральность. Вкус маслянистый, полный, сладкий и фруктовый, с хорошим балансом, дубом, цитрусом и горьким шоколадом; послевкусие у большинства долгое и гармоничное, вызывающее слюноотделение. Опытные ревьюеры единодушно хвалят экзотичность, самобытный стиль и собранность (89–90), отмечая связь с редкими старыми образцами. Критика идёт в основном от рядовых авторов: одному напиток кажется слишком концентрированным и полным, а послевкусие — терпким, кислым (крыжовник) и вяжущим, менее выразительным, чем аромат; другой указывает на сильную пряность и слишком рано наступающую доминирующую горечь, мешающую высшей оценке, хотя аромат называет отличным. Один автор понизил оценку при повторной дегустации с 89–90 до 87. В целом оценки согласованы и тесно сгруппированы в диапазоне 86–90, а превосходный аромат признают практически все.

delicious - exotic - different - very interesting drop - takes the bonds to the exotic notes of Burgie GS, Tormore 84 CA and some great old Irish and still has its own style

Although I do not usually put so much emphasis on preschooling, this time I have to say in advance that the honey is really exceptionally beautiful and viscous in the glass. Great sight, especially for a bourbon barrel ripening.

Нос	89	As the color has already suggested, the new portion of the barrel has gotten what underlines the oily and herbaceous, but also the marzipan-creamy-sweet components. It also looks "darker" than a typical 20-year-old bourbon barrel malt and immediately makes an intense and full impression. Spicy (I have to think of a spicy vegetable soup) and sweet, with lots of wood, resin and orange oil. But also pickled cucumbers (including the mustard seeds) and fully ripe fruits: banana, melon, guava. The whole thing is always counterpointed by a very present barrel wort. Water makes it sweeter, massive honey is added.
Вкус	88	Strong, full, sweet, fruity appearance, with a wonderfully oily texture. Crass lots of "forest aromas", from spruce needles to resin and honey. Earthy, herbaceous, with grape sweetness and light fruit notes. Pure, however, it is a bit too concentrated and full for me. A mineral side seems to me to be added with water, also in the nose. Now you have not only moss, but also the wet stone floor on which it grows ... that's the direction. Very interesting.
Финиш	86	Tart, sour (gooseberry?) Astringent. Less impressive than the nose and palate, I can't find anything special here.

Low acidity, fruity, just gigantic good, period. Happy is the one who has a big bottle of it somewhere.

Нос	91	Immediately intense, almost offensively ripe pineapple, sweet mango and sweetened grapefruit, pomelo, and whatever else the tropics have to offer - I could sniff for hours at this wonderful deep dark yellow fruit melange in cream honey. It is very mild for the alcohol content.
Вкус	91	Wow, honey tree sap fruit super nova! Exactly what is so great on the nose can be found here: perfect balance of all flavors, so concentrated-pureed that I still need a while to enjoy the nuances. Chew-smack-smack!
Финиш	89	Harmonious and making your mouth water for a long time, a real delight, how balanced it is.

a very harmonious, fully matured Linkwood with the classic orange concentrate note in the taste. I'm sure that will benefit from oxidation in the bottle. Very well chosen!

Tasty 20-year-old Linkwood, with a prominent orange note in the aroma. In general, first of all, there are many exotic fruit flavors, which the pure bourbon barrel ripening did not expect. A very strong spiciness in the mouth and too soon onset and then very dominant bitterness prevent for me a top note, but a successful representative in the Local Dealer Selection 2017. The nose is excellent here.
