Hey - thanks to the quick Whic delivery, the guys and I were able to try the Glendullan Edda#14 today. As a "counterpart," we have the Glendullan Signatory Vintage 100 Proof #32 in our glass. There's a great evaluation note from Glen Efze for this bottling, which absolutely reflects our impressions – but let's start with Edda #14 Vali... It's naturally very visually appealing in a handsome, heavy decanter, and the color is thankfully just as it is.

| Вкус | 90 | The alcohol (56.6%) is significantly better integrated than the 57.1% in the 100-proof #32 – almost creamy (I let a second glass stand for 20 minutes without a lid – it did the Glendullan a lot of good, in my opinion) with a cinnamon-like (?) sweetness. Dark chocolate and the cherry are there again... just enjoy - delicious... |
