Overall Impression: It's an old release of the legendary Jack Daniel's No. 7. At first glance, it seems quite ordinary, and the second glance doesn't reveal anything extraordinary either. However, it's still not a bad choice. That being said, when compared to newer options, I would go for the latter. If you have the chance to try a dram for a small price, give it a go, but it's not worth buying a bottle. Its biggest flaw is the low-quality spirit, which leads to an unpleasant intoxication. As for the taste, it's decent at times, but only occasionally.
| Нос | 68 | Buttery corn, dust, caramel, toffee, and milk chocolate. There's a slight alcohol (phenol) note that comes off poorly, but it’s not a deal-breaker. If you can detach from it, your brain will transform that note into the aroma of salted bacon. So, if you're into a bacon old-fashioned, this could be perfect. |
