В аромате виски раскрывается сразу и щедро сладкими фруктами: персик во всех видах, банан, абрикос, мирабель, дыня, ананас на фоне ванили, мёда и карамели, с постепенно проступающим пряным слоем — кардамон, корица, кориандр, куркума, карри, а также марципан, ромашковый чай и лёгкий дуб. Во вкусе отмечают кремовую, бархатистую и на удивление мягкую для десятилетнего подачу, обильную фруктовость (персик, манго, банан, маракуйя, гуава) со сладостью на грани мёда и сиропа, к которой добавляются пряности, орехи и дубовая перчинка. Хвалят прежде всего цельность и мастерство купажа, где бурбонная и олоросная составляющие сплавлены бесшовно, а также удачно выбранную крепость.
Наибольшее расхождение — в послевкусии: часть опытных считает его слабым местом, средним по длине, быстро уходящим в терпкость и дубовую горечь без возврата фруктов, тогда как другие описывают его как средне-долгое, по-прежнему фруктовое и сладкое с ванилью и печеньем. Оценки при этом плотно сгруппированы (86–88), опытные ревьюеры и остальные единодушны в общем вердикте — сбалансированный, легкопьющийся и очень фруктовый образец; расходятся лишь детали финальной фазы и сожаления о цене и доступности.

A standard Green Spot at 46%! And with an age statement, no less! Thank goodness for Mitchell & Son for celebrating a centenary, and thank goodness for the Irish whiskey renaissance, whose engine may have had a few hiccups lately, but is nevertheless capable of producing gems like this one.
| Нос | 88 | A fruity and fresh start with banana puree, fresh apricots and mirabelle plums, peach slices, a generous amount of vanilla ice cream, and rapeseed honey. There were hints of spices at the beginning, but they weren't yet clearly identifiable. Now, however, combined with the fruit flavors, come curry powder, turmeric, cardamom, a touch of cinnamon, and coriander. It all blends together beautifully, making you really look forward to the first sip – and hoping that the taste lives up to the hype. |

Fresh and dried (candied) apricots, peach and passion fruit puree, mashed banana, guava juice, dragon fruit, mangosteen. Vanilla pod, honey, Werther's Original chocolate, along with curry powder, cardamom, cinnamon, tarragon, and marjoram. |

If you like the regular Green Spot but were left wishing for a higher strength or a higher age – and/or if the Yellow Spot was too heavy and winey for you – then this is the ticket. Really a masterclass in blending, as the bourbon and oloroso components mesh seamlessly, you can't pick anything apart.

It's very nuanced and dynamic, so my impressions shifted from one tasting to the next, but this time I'm getting lychee, banana, peach, apricot, licorice, cardamom, cinnamon, chamomile, vanilla, marzipan, and green apple. |
| Вкус | 87 | Lovely mouthfeel, surprisingly mild and velvety for a 10-year-old. Very sweet, somewhere in between multi-fruit juice, runny honey and syrup. More cereal here than on the nose, and a touch of guava. |
| Финиш | 83 | The achilles heel of the experience. Medium at best, and turning tart rather swiftly. No more fruit coming up as it goes down; the oak takes over. |

A truly lovely, well-balanced, and incredibly fruity bottling with a well-chosen strength. I really like it. I wish it were more affordable or more readily available here.

Vanilla, peach in all its forms (fresh, dried and as gummy candy), dried pineapple, honey, caramel, lemon balm, a hint of cinnamon, lemon slice, sour fries (gummy candy), fresh apples, pickled pears, honeydew melon, dried mango strips, hazelnut cream, almond crescents, mashed banana, oak spice. |
| Вкус | 88 | It flows softly and smoothly into the mouth. There it is very pleasantly creamy and again exceptionally fruity. Vanilla, honey, dried pineapple, dried peaches, light leather, cinnamon, cloves, dried grapefruit, caramel candy, nut slices, mashed bananas, baklava, roasted almond slivers, oak spice. |

A great, aromatic and above all very drinkable malt. I really like the 10th anniversary bottling.
| Нос | 88 | A pleasant, fruity, and almost velvety opening on the nose. The peach note, almost typical for me, comes through along with banana, apricot, and honeydew melon. Vanilla, cinnamon, and marzipan are also present. With more time, the fruit recedes somewhat, making way for chamomile tea, freshly cut wood, and white chocolate. In the background, there is a subtle layer of maple syrup and green herbs. |

Subtle notes of roasted almonds come through. Wood and pepper provide a slightly spicy mouthfeel. Excellent taste. |
