Торфяной островной молт с шоколадом, солёностью и плотным дымом. Опытные ставят около 83–87 и хвалят баланс, но многие рядовые ревьюеры считают его слишком молодым, спиртуозным и требующим воды.

В аромате — жидкая карамель, бельгийский шоколад и горячее солодовое молоко, поверх лёгкого дыма, с намёками на печёные садовые фрукты и табачный лист; появляется солёность и сладость с оттенком хереса, местами чуть маслянистая. Во вкусе — мёд, копчёный бекон, сушёный инжир, зелёные яблоки и жареные орехи с хорошо встроенным дымом костра, но заметны сухая дубовая горчинка, пряность и спиртуозность; послевкусие короткое-среднее, с пеплом, апельсином и тёмным шоколадом, тимьяном и плотным древесным дымом, иногда с неприятной кислотностью.
Опытные ревьюеры оценивают образец ровно и сдержанно (в основном 83–87), отмечая насыщенность и приятный сбалансированный профиль, хотя один из них считает его заурядным торфяным молтом, годным скорее как основа для купажа. Рядовые оценки расходятся сильнее: часть ставит 85–90 за морскую свежесть, дым и сладость, но существенная группа (72–82) критикует розлив за молодость, избыток спирта и бедность аромата даже с водой, называя оценку завышенной. Общий рефрен — виски заметно выигрывает от добавления воды.

Notes by producer; This is a marriage of four American oak hogsheads from the Bunnahabhain distillery, made in a rarer peated style, distilled in 2014 and aged for more than seven years. A dram full of decadent chocolate and pleasant fruit, rounded out by some brine and dense smoke. 2,185 bottles produced. Tasting Notes; Nose Runny caramel, Belgian chocolate seashells, a hot malted milk drink, thick coated chocolate biscuits and a creamy chocolate milkshake. Hints of cooked orchard fruits and tobacco leaf at the back. Palate Honey-roasted parsnip and smoked, crispy bacon. Lots of brininess and some dried figs combine nicely with well integrated bonfire smoke. Finish Ash and orange-dark-chocolate along with a touch of thyme. Thick, dense wood smoke remains.

Got a 3cl sample as a gift from a friend who wasn't much interested in this. I do not completely understand this. A really nice and tasty dram that doesn't require that much attention but still has something to offer because it has a lot of rough edges. PS Today Eintracht from Frankfurt entered the Europa League final against Glasgow Rangers. Congratulations friends of unity!

"Bit" is the apt expression here in a positive sense. Everything is simple and a bit there, but everything is more good than bad. But over time, the wood comes into play too much, so I go down from 87 to 86. |

I think the bottling is still very youthful. For me personally, there is also a certain miss in it.

Add water, but everyone already knew that ;). Sad for this Bunna it has been bottled way too young. Too high of an score here in my opinion.

Eld's Bn9 gives me a feeling of island life! Smoke and sea breath, honey with caramel sweet, spicy and warm, fruit with oak smell, which make the taste strong and sweet, as if standing between islands to feel the impact of the waves and sea breeze, it is worth trying!!!

apart from a restrained sweetness and alcohol, this one has hardly anything to offer. Even with water, it does not reveal any other aromas. It's not bad (it would have to taste like something for that), but it's completely unnecessary and irrelevant. 82/100 or 4/10
