| Нос | 89 | Initially, a very fruity and classic Bushmills nose with fresh and dried apricots and peach pieces, banana puree, dragon fruit, guava, and a touch of mango. Later, a few wine gum aromas join the fresh fruits, and all in all, the fruitiness has now settled in like a summer heatwave from the Azores, it seems. A light, indistinct spiciness, some caramel, toffee, and milk coffee. |
| Вкус | 90 | A magnificent opening, a bounty of fresh fruit, the 46% ABV is just right – not too weak, not too strong. Just like the nose, the palate delivers a fruit basket whose intensity is almost overwhelming. Fresh peaches, dried apricots, dragon fruit, banana, guava, honeydew melon, papaya. The fruits are presented on an oak tray, which complements the flavor with woody, dry aromas. Here, more pronounced spices emerge, namely chervil and marjoram. |
| Финиш | 89 | The finish is long, woody-dry, slightly spicy, and with fading fruit aromas. |
| Нос | 87 | Initially surprisingly reserved. Time and warmth in the glass do it good. Vanilla, caramel, fruit tea, bitter orange, figs, dates, dried apricots, dried orange slices, cloves, red apples, fresh strawberries, red wine gums, fine culinary herbs, oak spice. |
| Вкус | 88 | Vanilla, wild berry jam, blood oranges, red wine gums, caramel, dates, figs, dried peach, grapefruit, forest honey, dark grapes, oak spice. |
| Финиш | 86 | Medium-length finish, slightly tart. Vanilla, licorice, blood orange and grapefruit, caramel, gentian, red berry compote, oak spice. It's quite tasty, but a bit too bitter for my taste. However, I'm still very pleased that more and more Bushmills bottlings with higher alcohol content have been released recently. |
| Нос | 87 | A beautifully intense, fruity start. Red grapes, figs, plums – it leans more towards dried fruit. There's also a subtle hint of rosé wine. Malt, toffee, and almond oil promise sweetness. Woody notes come through, sometimes more, sometimes less. Slightly tart fruits emerge in the background – a touch of currants and gooseberries. |
| Вкус | 90 | On the palate, 46% ABV seems to be the perfect drinking strength. The range of aromas that hit the tongue is fantastic. Alongside dried fruits like prunes, dates, and raisins, there are notes of dried banana chips. These are complemented by spices, nuts, and raspberry syrup. All of this alternates beautifully with exotic fruits like peach, mango, and honeydew melon. A subtle oak spice provides a gentle tingle on the palate. Hints of caramel, rum pralines, and pepper emerge in the background. Wonderfully harmonious and delicious. |
| Финиш | 89 | Medium-long finish, mainly exotic fruits are present, along with spices, subtle bitterness, wood spice, and a great, well-rounded finish. |
