Nase: Süß, Zitrusfrucht, grüner Apfel, leichter Rauch, etwas schmutzig, Eiche, Malz, Vanille, Crème brûlée | Geschmack: würzige Eiche, etwas Rauch, süß, Vanille, Malz, gelber Apfel, etwas helle/ leicht vergorene Traube, leicht schmutzig/ mineralisch | Abgang: Mittellang; süße Noten, Vanille, helle Trauben, mineralische Noten und Eiche bleiben. | Fazit: Die Nase beginnt süß, mit Zitrusfrucht und grünem Apfel. Leichter Rauch und etwas schmutziges kommen dazu. Eiche, Malz und eine Mischung aus Vanille und Crème brûlée folgen. Die Vanille wird mit Wärme und Zeit etwas intensiver. Mit Wasser kommt eine leichte Grapefruit dazu. Der Geschmack beginnt mit einer sehr intensiven Eiche die schon fast scharf ist. Nachdem diese sich etwas beruhigt kommt dezenter Rauch dazu. Süße Noten und Vanille folgen. Malz und gelber Apfel kommen dann. Helle, leicht vergorene Trauben und eine leicht schmutzig-mineralische Note sind am Ende wahrnehmbar. Wasser entschärft die Eiche spürbar und lässt die süßen Noten mehr in den Vordergrund. Die einzige Fehlnoten, die stark präsente Eiche im Geschmack. Ein Whisky, der eine tolle Geschichte hat.
