В аромате раскрывается корзина фруктов — красное яблоко, банан, киви, папайя, драконий фрукт, — а также ваниль, ирис, фруктовый кекс и лёгкая злаковая нотка; всё гладко, бархатисто и уравновешенно, спирт заметен лишь слабой резкостью на старте. Во вкусе кремовое, плотное начало с тропическими фруктами (манго, банан, папайя) поверх основы из солода, ириса и крем-брюле, затем перечный, пряный оттенок и сухо-сладкая жевательная текстура; послевкусие средней длины постепенно подсыхает, унося за собой тропическую сладость. Оценки тесно сгруппированы в диапазоне 84–89, расхождений между опытными и остальными почти нет — согласие высокое. Хвалят прежде всего фруктовый профиль, гладкость и баланс, а также удачную доводку в бочках из-под олоросо и мускателя, придающую живость при кажущейся молодости (некоторые оценили возраст лишь в 10–12 лет). Единственная повторяющаяся претензия — нарастающая сухость к финалу: один из опытных ревьюеров отдельно отметил послевкусие со знаком минус, тогда как остальные считают эту сухость приемлемой ценой за долгое удержание фруктов.

Here, it seems, a whiskey has completed its almost perfect cask maturation and maturation period. Aged 16 years, this double-distilled product from Cooley delivers flavors that other whiskeys need to spend a good amount of time longer in the cask.
Нос 89 Welcomes the nose with a small basket of fruit, from which red apple, banana, kiwi, papaya and dragonfruit stand out. Apart from that, absolutely nothing "stings" here, because it is wonderfully velvety and balanced in the most positive sense, without causing boredom with this impression. Fruitcake, Jaffa biscuits, vanilla crescents and again and again light and tasty fruit notes.
Вкус 89 In the perfect continuation of the nose, it has a smooth, creamy start on the tongue and delivers tropical fruits in the form of mango, banana, papaya and dragonfruit as top notes, and does not neglect the base with malt, toffee, fudge and cream Brûlée is very stable. But the focus is clearly on the fruit notes, luckily, you don't want to let go of it.
Финиш 88 Becomes dry on the tongue the longer it lingers, and it takes this dryness with it on the finish, but does not neglect its main potential - the tropical fruits - which fortunately linger on for a long time without being slowed down by spicy notes.

N: This youthful/vibrant juice could be bourbon if it weren’t for the lactose tropical fruitiness equalled by firm [apple] orchard fruits and a light cereal [Shreddies] huskiness. Probably Irish then. T: Immersive/large/big-bodied, fresh-soft-sharp fruity and peppery on the palate with more tropical-light and apple fruitiness. Now even more certain this is Irish whiskey, there’s no putty! A very pleasing dry-sweet chew ensues. Given the [cask finishing] vibrancy, I guessed this at around 10-12 years of age. F: Fruity spicy oak. Once I’m told about the moscatel finish, In hindsight it’s obvious – my last brush with moscatel finishing being most recently at a Pisco Disco [WLP]. C: Less intense on tropical-ness and even less on putty, this is a refreshingly light yet vibrant Irish whiskey that starts nice and gets better from there.

Нос 88 A very beautifully lush and extremely sweet nose. The alcohol initially shows a slight sharpness. Lots of vanilla, heavy Beerenauslese, baked bananas, sugared red currants, soft cake, ripe mango, lemon drops, toffee, quince bread, dried apricots.
Вкус 88 Peppery start. Vanilla, dried apricots, caramel, mango wine gums, ripe white grapes, donuts dusted with powdered sugar, kiwi, white pepper.
Финиш 87 medium length Slightly dry. Vanilla, Mascobado, Green Apple.
