Nase: Süß, Kirsche, dunkle Trockenfrüchte, etwas Pflaumenmus, leicht säuerlich, dunkle Schokolade, Malz, Eiche | Geschmack: Süß, würzig, leicht moderige Eiche, Kirsche, dunkle Trockenfrüchte, etwas Pflaumenmus, etwas dunkle Schokolade, Malz | Abgang: Mittellang; süßes Malz, Kirsche, dunkle Trockenfrüchte und leicht moderige Eiche bleiben. | Fazit: Die Nase beginnt süße. Kirsche und dunkle Trockenfrüchte dominieren den Geruch. Ein wenig Pflaumenmus und eine leicht säuerliche Note kommen dazu. Ein Hauch dunkle Schokolade gibt es noch. Malz und Eiche sind ehr in der zweiten Reihe. Der Geschmack geht süß und würzig los. Dazu kommt eine etwas moderige Eiche. Kirsche, dunkle Trockenfrüchte und etwas Pflaumenmus folgen. Ein Hauch dunkle Schokolade und Malz kommen zum Ende noch. Ein schöner Whisky. Voll mit dunklen Früchten. Fehlnoten habe ich keine. | 86 Punkte

The nose starts off spicy. Then there is some sulphur and dark fruit. There is also chocolate, cocoa and nuts. The taste starts off spicy too. Dark dried fruit and nuts follow. Sugared oranges and creamy malt candy are there as well as chocolate and cocoa. The finish, which is medium, is left with dark chocolate, malt and nuts. A Tullibardine by Murray McDavid with a sherry finish. Great sherry whisky with real depth and fullness. Nevertheless, you notice the lack of age. The alcohol is good and there are no off notes. The price-performance ratio is good and you can't go wrong with this.

Нос 85 Warm, sweet, and complex – like a plate full of raisins, figs, and dark cherries nestled in a freshly opened oak crate. PX brings syrupy depth, Oloroso delivers nuttiness, spice, and a delicate dryness. Add to that vanilla, honey, and a hint of cocoa.
Вкус 83 Round, sweet, spicy, and fruit-forward – like a dense stream of caramel, raisin, and ripe apricot flowing over dark wood. PX reveals itself with dark sweetness and soft richness, Oloroso with nuttiness, spice, and structure. The texture is full yet clear, with a warm, luminous core.
Финиш 82 Medium-long, fruity and woody, and pleasantly warm. Raisin, vanilla, nut, and a subtle hint of spice linger – like the final notes of a sweet sherry in the evening light.

Not particularly complex, but lush and full of wood-spicy side. You have to like that. It tastes exactly like it's called, like chocolate and fruit. I like it: tasty and tasty.

Нос 83 First some freshness, then the typical Tullibardine aromas: malty, fruity, wine-like (like wine gums). Dark creme brulee and some cocoa are added.
Вкус 85 Quite full and nice creamy texture. Sweet malty, fruity with red apple, oranges and red berries. Dark caramel and quite spicy with cinnamon and chocolate.
Финиш 84 Medium length. Nice distinct spice with cinnamon, dark chocolate, a little ginger and very light herbs. Only gets a little dry.

Нос 83 sweet sherry and a bit of wood, juicy raisins, ripe plums, a hint of tobacco and dark chocolate, overall not particularly voluminous
Вкус 81 quite a drinkable start with raisins and sherry cask, but then the alcohol immediately follows - the 44.5% is noticeable, with this alcohol boost the whisky is a little less drinkable, but more woody and with hints of unripe, light fruits and chili
Финиш 79 the whisky stays in the mouth for a long time and stimulates salivation, but seems drier than in the nose and in the first impression on the tongue, a sherry note remains on the tongue and a slight sharpness on the inside of the cheeks

It's rare that I rate the flavor with the lowest score, but the dram is too bitter for me. Nevertheless, for me the Cask Craft series from Murray McDavid is a better alternative than original bottlings with 40%. The 44.5% simply makes the experience more exciting.

Нос 81 Sherry, dried fruits and here explicitly a large load of raisins, some nuts. This is to be expected from the barrels, but it leaves you wanting more.
Вкус 80 A little bitter, leaning towards bitter almond or dark chocolate, a hint of roasted aromas, some volatile sulfur, overall the whisky seems watery at first, but is a little stronger at the end.
Финиш 81 The roasted aromas stay with me for a long time and wrap themselves around the palate. This is really hitting me hard right now.

Starts off weak with the nose but the taste and the finish is awesome. For the price it's amazing. Full of figs, dates, prunes and chocolate. A suprisingly long finish.

0582-TULLIBARDINE SHERRY FINISH HOGHSHEAD CASK MURRAY McDAVID CASK CRAFT SINGLE MALT SCOTCH Whisky 44.5% ... ..no, well... it's not bad. Decent, though young. There might be a bit too much bitterness, but you get used to it. This version of Tullibardine isn't overly complex, focusing on a few aromas and flavors. Which isn't a bad thing, really. Sometimes less is more. Overall, it's a fairly accessible sipper. It's a shame it's only for one sip, but if you do buy it, you should be pleased. And if not, one of your guests definitely will be.

Lots of sherry. Mostly Oloroso Chocolate, dark Lots of baking spices in taste. Dark Chocolate… dark sweetness… All dressed up in layers of sherry…. cacao Great malt that stays for long
